Program Mission Embark on a unique journey to cultivate expertise in Primary Eye Care, Pediatric Optometry, Geriatric Optometry, and Binocular Vision. Skills Attained Develop the patient education and practice management competencies essential for excelling in a private practice setting. Patient Demographic Engage comprehensively in the management of diverse patient populations in Primary Eye Care, including but not limited to: – Special Needs – Post-surgical – Basic Skills – Strabismus/Amblyopia Advanced Technology Elevate your proficiency in applying cutting-edge technology for vision assessment and eye health evaluation within a professional context: – Near and Far Retinoscope – Ophthalmoscope – Non-Contact Tonometers – Digital Slit Lamp – Handheld Slit Lamp – Low Vision Aids – Digital Retinal Imaging – Automated & Manual Perimetry Visual Field Testing – Various Stereopsis Tests – Various Phoria Tests – Glaucoma Screening & Management in Primary Eye Care – Management of Eye Diseases such as Age-Related Macular Degeneration in Primary Eye Care – Contact Lens Fitting Skills – Ortho-K (Orthokeratology) – RGP (Rigid Gas Permeable) Lens Fitting – Proficiency in Anterior and Posterior Segment Examination Using Slit Lamp – Expertise in Strabismus and Non-Strabismus Cases – Additionally, we provide specialized services for the treatment of binocular vision disorders, including non-surgical approaches for non-strabismus conditions. Our training program encompasses both soft skills and technical expertise, bridging the gap between theory and practical application when it comes to prescribing eye care solutions.
